Terms of Service

Welcome to TranscribeFormatter. By accessing or using our application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TranscribeFormatter, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

TranscribeFormatter is a local-first application that formats meeting notes and transcripts into structured Jira cards and Notion documents. The service is available in two tiers:

• Free Plan: Up to 3 formatting operations per day at no charge.
• Pro Plan ($6.90/month): Unlimited formatting operations and cross-platform instant sync.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

• Pro Plan subscriptions are billed monthly at $6.90 USD via our payment processor, Creem.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact zxl21263@gmail.com.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to the meeting notes, transcripts, and formatted outputs you create using TranscribeFormatter. We do not claim ownership over your content. By default, your content is processed locally and is not stored on our servers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code.
• Use automated tools to access or interact with the service in ways not intended.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without written authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to TranscribeFormatter — including its design, code, trademarks, and documentation — are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TranscribeFormatter is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TranscribeFormatter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
